\u201cSongs end. Movies end. Even flowers and plants die after every season. So, stories also end. It\u2019s just how things are.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

For a moment the woman paused and studied the girl in front of her. With her head sunken between her shoulders she appeared much smaller and more vulnerable than when she walked into her room half an hour ago. She didn\u2019t mean to sound so indifferent, but you know\u2026 Why sugarcoat things when we\u2019d be much better off facing reality and accepting the truth.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s definite\u201d she continued, trying to encourage her. \u201cYou can always start a new story. You just have to find the words.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Suddenly the girl lifted her head and scowled at the woman, her eyes now filled with tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know words\u201d<\/em>, she replied. Her razor sharp voice echoed through the room.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know about pain and betrayal, about falling down<\/a> and trying to get up<\/a> again, about lies and illusion, about regret and tears. You see, I know all the words about darkness but I don\u2019t know any words about light. How can I write myself a new story if I don\u2019t know any of these words?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The woman smiled.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody is born with a full set of words. We learn them along the way. Just start. Start with the first word that makes you feel good. The one that resonates with everything you are, the one that warms your heart. Then, step by step you will discover the other ones. That\u2019s how new stories are written.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
